Texas Frightmare Weekend & Sackboys

 So, I haven't posted anything in a month. I've been swamped with Sackboy orders...and working on my own special Sackboy for this past weekends Texas Frightmare Weekend. It's my Horror convention (my first convention of any kind) and Norman Reedus was going to be there, so I wanted to make a Daryl Dixon Sackboy for him.

After waiting in line, I was finally able to get to the table. I had Norman sign a couple of things..... then I gave him the Sackboy. It was the coolest moment... Norman seems genuinely excited to get gifts from his fans. He gave me the biggest hug and said it was really awesome. Before I got a photo with him, he was asking me about the sackboy and he even cradled it in his arms like a baby (kicking myself for not getting a photo of that!). So even Norman Reedus likes my sackboys.lol

Jack Skellington Sackie

My version of Jack Skellington as a Sackboy. This was a request on etsy. He turned out way cuter than I thought he would.

 I'm still working on making his bow tie...where it doesn't end up looking stupid.

But for now, I think he looks pretty cute.

The Doctor Who Challenge

So one of my etsy customers has given me the challenge of making all 11 Doctors for her. This will be an extremely fun for me since I'm a big Doctor Who nerd. I will be posting them as I finish them.

Frankenstein and his Bride

So after a VERY long wait........... This set is finished and with their proud new owner.

Hopefully I can get a few more of these little cuties done soon.

 I plan on doing more 'horror' related Sackies. This set is $60 if you are interested in getting one like it.

****UPDATE**** Mega Man completed

So tonight I finally finished the Mega Man Sackboy. If it weren't for the damn holiday hours I work at the mall....I would have been finished a couple weeks earlier.

                                         

I will be posting these on my etsy as a 'made to order' Sackboy. It will take 3-4 weeks to make. They are $40.00 (plus $5.50 priority shipping in the US)

I need to make his blaster, and then work on his helmet.

This is Mega Man for those who aren't gamers and don't know Mega Man.

The blaster arm is done.....just need to finish the detail on the helmet and add eyes.
